History
Roopsi Exports was established over a decade ago, with the intention of trading in natural stone. Our Founder, Revant Singh, travelled across the world, acquiring a niche clientele and immense knowledge in this field. He gauged the potential, and wished to establish a strong presence across the value chain. With this intent, we started mining and went on to set up a cutting edge factory to process the stone we mined. This gave us, and our clients, a huge advantage – they could now get a selection of stones, in dimensions and quantities of their choice.
Today, we mine, process and trade in an exclusive range of world-class granites and natural stones. We are sought after by renowned architects across the globe for our on-time delivery and competitive pricing. Our commitment has helped us expand our operations across India, China, South America, Europe, Gulf and Africa.
Capabilities
The biggest advantage we have to offer is scalability and flexibility. Having our own quarries and factory for processing the stone enables us to deliver to the demands of projects of any scale. Our consistent quality, on-time delivery and competitive pricing have won us the trust of many a prestigious client. It has earned us projects like the Parliament of the Republic of Sri Lanka and the 9/11 Bank of America Memorial. And helped us build strong relationships with clients like the International Granite & Marble Corporation, USA, and Ally Stone in China.
Social Responsibility
We believe in mining responsibly. We aren’t just eco-conscious, we also work alongside the communities in our neighborhood, enriching their lives and making them more sustainable. To this end, we have initiated many charities and social service activities, like:
- Welfare initiatives and medical care for villagers near the quarry and the factory.
- Providing local government schools with textbooks and notebooks, and helping the staff with schooling.
- Providing food and clothes to old age homes and children’s shelters.
- Organizing staff welfare programs, providing wholesome meals for workers at the quarry and staff, taking care of medical needs of employees, etc.
